On February 23rd, Senator Stewart-Cousins joined the White Plains Historical Society at the Jacob Purdy House to celebrate the birthday of America’s Founder, George Washington. The event program included a flag raising ceremony and conversations about history, specifically the “Revoluntionary War Battles in NY through George Washington’s Maps” by Barnet Schecter.
