(Greenburgh) – Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins has been endorsed by Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner and every member of the Greenburgh Town Board. The Town of Greenburgh officials cited the Senator’s leadership, responsiveness to the needs of the Town and record of delivering for her constituents as reasons for their support.
Senator Stewart-Cousins represents the 35th State Senate district. She is running in the Democratic Primary election on Thursday September 13.
“Whenever we have called on Senator Stewart-Cousins, she has always been there for the Town of Greenburgh. She is an effective legislator who has helped save Greenburgh taxpayers millions of dollars. I am pleased to endorse Senator Stewart-Cousins for re-election,” said Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner.
“I am proud to support Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins because she proudly represents the people of the Town of Greenbugh. She is always there to support events sponsored in our Town that encourage our young people to achieve their potential. When she participates, she is an inspiration to them and their families. When the Town Board reached out to her to get the hotel tax legislation passed, Andrea was there in Albany to support the Town and its villages. We need Senator Stewart- Cousins’ leadership in Albany to represent us and for her ability to bring people together to solve the important issues facing our Town and our State,” said Town Councilmember Diana Juettner.
